Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Mynderse scored first and shutout Midlakes-Red Jacket for the first half, on their way to a 5-3 win on the road. It was the first win for the Blue Devils this season and avenged their earlier 6-2 loss when they played the Eagles on May first. Junior midfielder Mitchell Dekanski led the scoring with 3g and freshman midfielder Dylan Tandle added 1g-1a. Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: Webster Thomas scored the first goal of the game and although Fairport quickly tied it, the Titans went ahead early in the second quarter and never gave up the lead in their 7-5 win at Fairport this afternoon. The spectators saw a very defensive game with Titan senior goalie Ethan Ruller making All-American saves and Fairport junior goalie McLean Ralston making 12s (63%).

Quite a number of coaches feel that McQuaid Jesuit will be a top contender among Class A teams this year which makes sense with three players who made first-team All-League honors as sophomores returning for their senior year. In the attack is Max Ettinghausen is a four-year starter who scored 28g-24a in 2019 and 23g-13a as a freshman. He is a "fast, smart and tough player with excellent stick skills and is a strong leader" according to Coach Corcoran. He will continue playing lacrosse next year at Tufts.

# 2890  Irondequoit Comes Back in Final Minute

After trailing for nearly the entire game, Irondequoit came back to take their first lead early in the fourth quarter.  The Eagles won in the first overtime period 9-8 over McQuaid Jesuit.  The Knights took the early lead with 4 of the first 5 goals; they led by three goals twice in the first half before Irondequoit came back to tie the game (6-6) at the half.

Saturday: DAY IN REVIEW: On a bright Saturday, there were fourteen games played. Seven were with out of Section teams and the local teams won six. Fairport was a 14-12 winner over Jamesville-DeWitt (Section 3). The Red Raiders led 10-6 at the half. Sophomore midfielder Klay Stuver led the offense with seven goals and sophomore goalie Tim Defendis recorded eighteen saves (60%). Fairport advances to 7-4 while JD drops top 10-2.

# 1358  Penn Yan Wins in Double OT

SATURDAY: DAY IN REVIEW: Although the forecast called for an ice storm throughout the day, nine games were able to be completed on a very cold day. Penn Yan won in double overtime with a goal by Colton Smith. Gananda won an exciting 11-10 victory over Pal-Mac as the combination of seniors Brett Cunningham and Henry Bush combined for seven goals which proved to be the difference. Spencerport and Schroeder had two ties before the Warriors scored two goals in the last quarter for a 6-4 win.

Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: It's been a busy vactation week for the Canandaigua Braves as they folowed at Win at Geneva with a win over Penn Yan in overtime tonight. Pal-Mac traveled to Erie, PA for a 19-9 win against Erie McDowell and McQuaid won in Maryland.

Wednesday: DAY IN REVIEW: It certainly was a team effort as the McQuaid Jesuit Knights overcame a 4-1 deficit with five second quarter goals to give them a 9-7 win in Baltimore against the Archbishop Curley Friars(4-2). Although eight different players made the offensive book, junior attackman Ryan McEvily led the offensive effort with 2g-2a and senior midfielder Will Harvey added 1g-2a.
